Have you been sleeping on your side these past few days? How about past few weeks? Months? Years??
If you are, you may have not noticed when sleeping on one side, the shoulder will roll inwards. Now imagine the shoulder being in that sustained position for 7 or 8 hours every single night.
Can you see how that can eventually cause damage?
So, very simply, change your sleeping habit. Try the other side for awhile. Try sleeping on your back. (We don’t recommend sleeping on your stomach).
Once you take the pressure off your painful shoulder, this might not get rid of the pain right away, but at least you give it a chance to heal.
