Most of you have been under chiropractic care for similar reasons….
Neck pain, low back pain, headaches, sciatica, shoulder pain, etc, etc, etc.
But do you know what exactly is happening to you as you start feeling better?
You might think that little instrument that I apply on your spine is used to move the vertebrae back into place.
Well, you are right on that. But there is so much more to it.
You see, the spinal cord, the brain and the spine are essentially married to each other.
In other words, when we are working on your spine, we are also working on your Central Nervous System.
Think about it. When you tilt your head to the right, you move your spine. But you also move the inner spinal cord at the same time. The two move in unison with each other.
In fact, you cannot separate the spinal cord from the spine as the cord is inside it, like a long guitar string running inside your spine.
A misaligned vertebrae will tug or pull on the spinal cord. So although an adjustment is used to “re-align”, or “recalibrate” your individual spinal vertebra, at the same time, we are removing any pulling or tugging on that spinal cord.
By doing this, all of a sudden, your brain sends and receives normal signals again from the level of the vertebrae that was just adjusted.
We removed any nerve interference at that level. And suddenly, you physiology improves, and your body works more normal for a period of time.
We have turned the lightbulbs on in your body so that it can heal and express health the way your body should!
And that is truly what we are doing with a chiropractic adjustment.
It is so powerful that some people notice more energy, better sleep, less anxiety, and improved bowels.
Almost everybody feels healthier to some extent.
So I hope that makes sense. You can ask questions anytime.
If you’ve never tried this special technique we use (torque release technique), and would like to, let us us know!
