I hope you are keeping safe and cherishing your time with your loved ones, and taking advantage of this time to complete those little tasks or jobs that had been perhaps lingering for way too long.

This pandemic has been an eye opening time, and has likely provided an opportunity to reflect for many of you.

Although we are anxiously awaiting to return to our normal lives, we will continue to abide by recommendations given by Manitoba Public Health and Shared Health.

Other provinces are starting to outline their plans to open, and hopefully Manitoba will make an announcement soon also.

In the meantime, our clinic continues to operate for those that fall within one of these three criteria:

1. You are currently working in an essential services industry and your condition or injury requires care. See list of essential workers here:

2. You are in severe pain.

3. In the absence of care, your condition would deteriorate and you are at risk of attending urgent care or emergency.

If you do answer yes to any of the above questions, please reply to this email, or email us at info@arorafamilychiropractic.ca and we will be happy to set up an appointment for you.

Keep in mind we are providing virtual care for everyone else and can book that for anybody.

In the meantime, many of you are likely sitting in front of a computer, on your phones, or sitting at a desk more than usual.

If this is causing you to tense up in the neck, shoulder, or upper back area,

Consider performing these really easy Spinal Hygiene exercises.

A) Extend your head back for 10 seconds. This simple act helps to relax your spine and the muscles around your neck.

B) Pull your shoulders up, then back, and hold. Try to hold this “military pose” for 10 seconds. It really helps to release some of that upper back tension.

C) Stick your lower back in and puff your chest out. Again, hold this for 10 seconds, and see how you feel.

Any of these spinal hygiene movements can be done sitting or standing, and can be done multiple times a day, all throughout the day.

If you have any questions about these or anything at all, again, don’t hesitate to reply to this email.

We will be in touch soon!
