According to many, superbugs may well be the biggest crisis we are going through as humans.
The superbug concept has been around for a long time.
But perhaps we haven’t been taking it as seriously as we should.
Because a few days ago, an article came out in the news…
Saying that 400,000 Canadians may die from Superbugs over the next thirty years.
This is because of the resistance bacteria and viruses are forming against antibiotics.
In fact, if it wasn’t for climate change, “superbugs”would be the largest crisis on our planet.
To quote the article, this is a “Slow moving tsunami”.
Scary thought.
So what are we supposed to do?
We need to CHANGE how we perceive and approach HEALTH.
As mentioned in previous articles, we must take a proactive approach to our health.
That is – put our bodies in a position where we need minimal medical intervention.
And live as long and as healthy as a life as possible.
Listen… there is a place for drugs and medications. We all need them at one point or another.
But all experts agree we should avoid them if we can.
And that starts with taking care of yourself.
Eat right. Sleep more. Socialize. Exercise. Have fun.
These are simple changes. We all know them.
How hard is it to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night?
Think of your body as a shiny red Ferrari.
You have to wash your Ferrari, change the fluids. Baby it. Love it.
Don’t think of your body like an old jalopy (remember Archie and the Gang?)
Or you might stop caring and you will start to fall apart.
