Acupuncture
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine that involves thin needles being inserted into specific pressure points in the body.
Acupuncture works by causing the body to produce its own pain relieving chemicals called endorphins.
Endorphins help to decrease pain and promote healing and relaxation.
Acupuncture also works by activating the nerve fibers that interfere with pain signals being sent to the brain to cause pain relief.
Acupuncture is great for treating a wide variety of conditions including muscle strains, tendonitis, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, and other chronic pain conditions.
